About the Hardscrabble Green Loop...
This multi-use trail, for pedestrians, bikes and golf carts will run along Hardscrabble Road from Roswell High School to Sweet Apple Elementary, Park and Village shops. The system will connect to the current sidewalk system throughout Chaffin and Hembree Roads. Once complete it will offer the Hembree residents on our block a truly unique "walkable village" opportunity! Here's a look at the current plan:

"The purpose of this project is to construct a multi-use trail along Hardscrabble Road connecting Roswell High School to Sweet Apple Elementary School. This project will also include several intersection improvements, including a possible roundabout at Hardscrabble Road and Chaffin (east) Road. This concept is part of a larger bicycle and pedestrian system called the Roswell Loop. This project is jointly funded by the City of Roswell and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The City of Roswell is managing this project and has hired a consultant team led by Reynolds, Smith and Hills (RS&H). As of October 2015, right-of-way acquisition is currently underway. Construction is estimated to begin Fall 2016". See more at the City Website here...
